The shooting took place shortly before 8:05 p.m. on the 700 block of Gordon Avenue South, between the Westminster Golf Club and Gunnery Road, according to the sheriff’s office. The victim was taken to a hospital, the sheriff’s office said. His condition is unclear. Further details weren’t immediately available. It’s the third time this month someone has been injured in a Lee County shooting. A teen was shot and wounded while walking Oct. 3 in Cape Coral.
