Nicholas Franco NAPLES, Fla. A former doctor at a since-closed Naples urology practice has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison for possessing child pornography. Nicholas Franco was sentenced after pleading no contest, said Sara Miles, a spokeswoman for Florida’s 20th Judicial Circuit. He is to enter prison in January. Franco worked at Specialists in Urology, which closed earlier this year and was owned by the financially troubled 21st Century Oncology of Fort Myers. A Collier County detective found child porn files connected with an IP address linked to Franco’s home, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office said. A laptop belonging to Franco was found with 50 child porn videos with girls ranging from 4 to 12 years old, according to CCSO. Franco and his family plan to move to Canada upon his release from prison, Miles said. If he doesn’t do so within 72 hours of release, he has to serve 15 years of sex offender probation.
