Patricia Williams, D-Lauderdale Lakes, filed the proposal (HB 265) for consideration during the 2018 legislative session, which starts in January. Florida already has the Ronald Reagan Turnpike, also known as Florida’s Turnpike, and George Bush Boulevard, which is a stretch of A1A in Delray Beach named after George H.W. Bush.
