Caloosahatchee bridge reopens after crash on US 41

FORT MYERS, Fla. The Caloosahatchee bridge reopened Thursday evening following a crash on U.S. 41, according to the Fort Myers Police Department.

The crash happened on the entrance ramp from downtown Fort Myers and blocked one of the northbound lanes of traffic on the bridge, police said. All of the lanes reopened shortly after 7 p.m.

The circumstances leading up to the crash, the number of vehicles involved and the extent of injuries are unclear at this time.
