Key West Express resumes charters to island after Irma

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. Key West is on the road to recovery after Hurricane Irma rocked the Florida Keys.

The Key West Express resumed trips to the island with an 8:30 a.m. departure Thursday from the port at 1200 Main St. in Fort Myers Beach, according to the website.

Along with tourists, supplies and humanitarian efforts are also heading to the island.

Key West residents are in need of diapers, baby formula and hygiene products, all of which can be shipped to this following address for distribution:
