Taylor Bisacky / WINK SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. A sinkhole is expected to keep a stretch of Winkler Road closed until next week. The sinkhole first opened up last week on the road between College Parkway and McGregor Boulevard. Crews are working to repair it, and the closure will last until the night of Monday, Oct. 9, weather permitting, county spokesperson Tim Engstrom said. Traffic is being detoured off Winkler Road using Dean Way, McGregor Boulevard and Banyan Cove Circle. A detour map provided by the county is below:
