Naples Soap Company closes Key West store after Irma

NAPLES, Fla. Naples Soap Company closed its shop in Key West due to damage sustained after Hurricane Irma, the company said Tuesday in a statement.

Deanna Wallin, founder and chief innovation officer of Naples Soap Company, was saddened by the decision to leave the area.

“We have been a member of our beloved Key West community for five years, and it is with a heavy heart that we close our Key West location,” Wallin said in a statement.

The Naples Soap Company has other Southwest Florida locations in Naples, Estero, Fort Myers, Sanibel, and Punta Gorda.

The store first opened its Key West location in 2012 at 128 Duval St.
