PUNTA GORDA, Fla. Nebraska travelers can soon come to Southwest Florida for cheap. The nonstop flights will begin Dec. 14 from Omaha’s Eppley Airfield to Punta Gorda Airport, according to Allegiant. There will be services twice a week and one-way flights start at $41. The airline has nonstop service flights from 40 cities into Punta Gorda, according to Allegiant. “A new day is dawning for travelers looking to enjoy sunny southwest Florida,” said Kristen Schilling-Gonzales, Allegiant director of planning.
