FORT MYERS, Fla. Hurricanes Lee and Maria continued moving Monday morning in the Atlantic Ocean, the National Hurricane Center. Hurricane Maria has maximum sustained winds at 80 mph and is moving north at 7 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center. The system is about 315 miles south-southeast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. Here is Hurricane Maria’s forecast cone for the 11 a.m. advisory: A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Albemarle, Pamlico Sounds and from Cape Lookout to Duck in North Carolina, the National Hurricane Center said. A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect from north of Surf City to south of Cape Lookout in North Carolina, and north of Duck to the North Carolina-Virginia border, according to the National Hurricane Center said. A Storm Surge Watch is also in effect from Cape Lookout to Duck, the National Hurricane Center said. Hurricane Lee regained strength as a Category 1 storm early Sunday morning, the National Hurricane Center said. The system previously dissipated on Sept. 18. Hurricane Lee has maximum sustained winds at 90 mph and is moving south-southwest at 2 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center. The system is about 880 miles east of Bermuda and about 1390 miles south-southwest of the Azores.
