Boil water notice lifted for Manasota Key, Palm Island, Knight Island and Don Pedro Island

ENGLEWOOD, Fla. A precautionary boil water notice was lifted Wednesday afternoon for Manasota Key, Charlotte County emergency management officials said.

Water service to the water mains has been restored and bacteriological surveys showed the water is safe to drink for all of residents in Manasota Key including Sandpiper Key Condominiums, officials said.

The boil water notice was also lifted for Palm Island, Knight Island and Don Pedro Island, officials said.

There are currently no boil water notices for Charlotte County utilities customer, officials said.
