CAPE CORAL, Fla. An 18-year-old woman was killed Saturday afternoon when a driver failed to stop for a stop sign, Cape Coral police said. Jessica Ann Green of Cape Coral was driving a black 1996 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck west on Southwest 32nd Terrace when she was hit by a white 2018 Volkswagen Atlas SUV heading north on Southwest Eighth Court, according to police. The pickup truck rolled over and Green was ejected. The intersection is near Gleason Parkway and Skyline Boulevard. The SUV driver, Chauncey Ardean Davis II, 52, of Cape Coral, suffered minor injuries, police said. It’s unclear if any charges are pending. Neither alcohol nor drugs was a factor in the crash, police said.
