Cape Coral debris pick up delayed

CAPE CORAL, Fla. The city was supposed to start picking up the large piles of debris lining the streets on Monday.

Construction and vegetative debris can be dropped off from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the site at NE Seventh St. to NE 10th Ave. near the intersection of Pine Island Road and Andalusia Boulevard.

Proof of city residency, such as a driver’s license or utility bill, is required to use the site. The site is off-limits to commercial contractors.
