ARCADIA, Fla. Flooding on parts of State Road 31 is prompting DeSoto emergency management officials to warn travelers against using it. “The road closure is clearly marked, but overnight we are worried about people traveling back to Southwest Florida will try to use SR 31 to get to Ft. Myers,” emergency management officials wrote in an email. The road closure and detours are highlighted in the map below:
