FORT MYERS, Fla. Hurricane Jose maintained its status as a Category 1 storm Wednesday morning, the National Hurricane Center said. Hurricane Jose has maximum sustained winds at 75 mph and is moving southeast at 7 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center, according to the National Hurricane Center.
