Published: Updated:

CAPE CORAL, Fla. Liquor sales are allowed in the city again, and curfew has been loosened.

The city’s state of emergency ended at 4 p.m., Cape Coral police said. It became legal to sell liquor again in city limits at that point.

The city banned the sale of all alcohol, with the exception of beer, starting at 2 a.m. Saturday before Hurricane Irma passed through.

Curfew hours have been reduced to 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, police said. Elsewhere in Lee County, the curfew remains 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
