Cape Coral, Midpoint Memorial bridges cleared for traffic

CAPE CORAL, Fla. The Cape Coral Bridge and the Midpoint Memorial Bridge have been cleared for traffic, Cape Coral police said.

UPDATE: Midpoint Bridge and Cape Coral Bridge have been cleared for vehicular traffic, per Lee County.

The bridges connect Fort Myers and Cape Coral.

Tolls will not be collected until further notice, Lee County spokeswoman Betsy Clayton said.
