FORT MYERS, Fla. Tropical Storm Jose formed Tuesday morning in the Atlantic Ocean, the National Hurricane Center said. It had maximum sustained winds of 50 mph as of the 11 p.m. advisory. It was centered about 1,330 miles east of the Lesser Antilles and moving west at 14 mph. The system is forecast to become a hurricane but arc northward away from Southwest Florida. No watches or warnings are in effect.
