Riverdale High School student Marissa Perez, of Lehigh Acres, was walking on the west shoulder of the southbound lane of Sunshine Boulevard North at around 6 a.m., the FHP said.

Robert William Hrara, 21, of Lehigh Acres, was driving a 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder southbound on Sunshine Boulevard North near 61st Street West, the FHP said. Hrara turned right, crossing the white line onto the west shoulder, and collided into Perez.
