Researchers find gap of science knowledge in students

FORT MYERS, Fla. Researchers say students need to grow up to be scientifically literate in order for the United States to continue to compete globally.

Education researcher Paul Morgan and fellow researchers examined data from nearly 8,000 students from kindergarten to 8th grade, and the student’s general knowledge of the world around them.
