PUNTA GORDA, Fla. A portion of Taylor Road is closed Friday morning as Florida Power and Light crews install new power poles, Charlotte County officials said. Taylor Road is closed from Mallord Way to Acline Road, according to the county alert message. Motorists should use caution and follow posted detours. It’s unclear when the road will reopen.
