MGN FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) The body of a 60-year-old diver who went missing Saturday was recovered off the east coast of Florida, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office said. Antonio Almeida’s body was found around 3:20 p.m. Sunday, the sheriff’s office said. His death is not considered suspicious. The U.S. Coast Guard resumed its search in the morning after beginning to look from him Saturday, when he failed to surface about half-a-mile away from Lauderdale-by-the Sea, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported. Almeida was among 34 Scuba divers and snorkelers who went out to a shallow reef aboard the commercial diver vessel Lady Go Diver, according to Arilton Pavan, who runs Dixie Divers, the boat’s owner. Pavan said the man was a local resident and an experienced diver who has made two or three previous trips with his company.
