Hendry County lifts burn ban

LABELLE, Fla. Hendry County ended its temporary burn ban Friday, county officials said.

The county first issued the ban on Jan. 9, prohibiting outdoor burning following several fires.

Recent rains also prompted Lee County, Collier County and Cape Coral to end their burn bans this week.
