Lehigh man, 22, identified as victim in Colonial Boulevard crash

FORT MYERS, Fla. A 22-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning at the intersection of Colonial Boulevard and State Road 82, the Fort Myers Police Department said.

Zavante Napper, the passenger in the vehicle, was identified as the victim of the 1 a.m. wreck that shut down a portion of State Road 82 for several hours.

The lanes reopened at around 5 a.m.

Alcohol and excessive speed are believed to have played a role in the crash, police said.
