Special needs woman hospitalized after being left in bus for hours

FORT MYERS, Fla. A woman with special needs was hospitalized Friday afternoon after she was left in a bus for at least four hours on Central Avenue and Carrell Road, Fort Myers police said.

The woman appears to be in her 40s, according to police. Her condition is currently unclear.

The Department of Children and Families has been notified.
