LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. Surveillance video appears to show car burglary suspects searching through an unoccupied truck. The burglary happened May 10 on the 1000 block of Sheldon Avenue, Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said. Two unidentified men walked up to an unlocked truck and removed a gun from inside, according to a press release. Shortly after, the men stole fishing equipment from another vehicle down the road. The items stolen from the second vehicle were later recovered along a nearby canal, but the gun is still missing, according to a press release. Anyone with information can call 1-800-780-TIPS to leave an anonymous tip and become eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000.
