Mosquitoes menace parts of Collier County

GOLDEN GATE ESTATES, Fla. Mosquitoes have become prevalent in Collier County amid what officials are calling the worst start to mosquito season in nearly a decade.

Crews are spraying pesticide Monday night in an area bounded by Alligator Alley on the south, Immokalee Road on the north, DeSoto Boulevard on the east and Wilson Boulevard on the west.
