MGN PITTSBURGH, Pa. (KDKA) Emergency crews responded to a fatal fire inside the Midtown Towers in Downtown Pittsburgh early Monday morning. Firefighters were called out to the 600 block of Liberty Avenue around 3 a.m. Smoke and flames could be seen coming from the sixth floor of the building. Crews on the scene reported debris falling out of a window and catching at least one dumpster behind the building on fire. One woman has died, but her identity has not been released at this time. Two other people were taken to the hospital, but their conditions are unknown. Two firefighters were also injured. Just got word that there were multiple injuries in Midtown Towers fire. The Port Authority was being called to help move those residents. There are also several travel restrictions in place due to the fire.
