Man arrested in Fort Myers drug bust

FORT MYERS, Fla. A 29-year-old man was arrested in a drug bust Monday morning, Fort Myers police said.

Allen Michael Wiley was selling drugs from a home on the 3900 block of Madison Avenue, police said. Detectives began investigating the home after receiving complaints from neighbors regarding suspicious activity.

Undercover officers made multiple undercover purchases at the home while Wiley was present, police said.

A SWAT team searched the home and seized the following:

  • 12.5 grams of cocaine
  • 1.3 grams of cocaine base
  • 3.9 grams of MDMA
  • 25 grams of amphetamine
  • 37.5 grams of marijuana
  • 8.5 grams of heroin
  • A .22 caliber Derringer, loaded with four live rounds and one spent casing box of 45 caliber ammunition
  • Large amounts of drug paraphernalia

Wiley is now in custody facing various drug trafficking and possession charges, as well as charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation. He’s being held on a $161,000 bond.
