MGN / KHON PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. A broken force main spilled 2,500 gallons of raw sewage into a storm drain Monday morning, the Florida Division of Emergency Management said. The break happened around 7:30 a.m. at 1515 Forest Nelson Blvd. according to the incident report. No surface water or drinking water has been compromised, the emergency management division said. Crews worked to contain and clean the area, but it’s unclear when the issue will be resolved. No further information was immediately available.
