NEWARK, N.J. First baseman Nick Rivera knocked in four runs Sunday, pushing him past 200 RBIs for his career and helping FGCU baseball complete a three-game sweep of NJIT with a 10-6 win.

The Eagles (31-16, 7-8) pounded out 37 runs on 47 hits throughout the series and wasted little time Sunday, knocking out NJIT (4-34, 0-15) starter John Saviano with five third-inning runs, two of which came via Rivera’s team-leading 12th homer of the season.

Rivera doubled down the right-field line in the sixth to record his 200th RBI and added one more on a sacrifice fly in the eighth. His 201 career RBIs are 10th most in Atlantic Sun conference history.

Julio Gonzalez and Spencer Levine had three hits apiece for the Eagles, and starting pitcher Garrett Anderson (4-1) gave up two earned runs in five innings en route to the win.

FGCU next plays Wednesday at USF.
