Crews pull body out of Golden Gate canal

GOLDEN GATE, Fla. Dive teams pulled what appeared to be an adult man out of a canal Friday in the 3000 block of 50th Street Southwest.

The initial call came around 4:30 p.m. after two men crashed their boat into the rocks, witnesses said.

A neighbor had attempted to save the man before emergency officials arrived, but to no avail.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Greater Naples Fire District are on the scene.

It is currently unclear what caused the crash.
