A 41-year-old man was killed Thursday afternoon in a crash near Daniels and Chamberlin parkways. The wreck took place at about 1:45 p.m. James Sewell, of Lehigh Acres, was driving south on Chamberlin Parkway through a right hand curve when he lost control of his 2007 Nissan Sentra and drifted into the median. The Nissan struck a guardrail, spun out and hit a tree, the FHP said. Sewell was pronounced dead at the scene.
