The lemonade and baked goods a group of children sold Sunday couldn’t have been any sweeter than the reason they set up shop. Kids in the Raffia Preserve neighborhood raised $280 to aid recovery efforts from the fire that’s destroyed homes and burned more than 7,000 acres in Golden Gate Estates, said Neera Kapur Scarboro, the mother of one of the children. Half the money will go to the Greater Naples Fire District. The other half will go to the NGALA Wildlife Preserve, which was forced to evacuate animals.
