The man accused of driving a truck into a Times Square storefront Monday had a blood-alcohol level of .417, more than five times the legal limit of .08, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said. Robert Johnson, 47, of San Carlos Drive, is in custody after crashing his green Dodge Durango into the Teeki Hut at 1028 Fifth St, deputies said. Deputies found Johnson laying across the front seat smelling of alcohol with his head on the passenger seat, according to the sheriff’s department. Johnson didn’t remember the crash and had lacerations on his face and a piece of his scalp was found in the truck. He was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital. Two pedestrians also sustained minor injuries. Johnson is facing charges of driving under the influence, DUI with property damage, and DUI with a BAC of .15 or higher. His bond has not been set.
