NAPLES, Fla. Three men were arrested in connection with robbing $400,000 worth of merchandise from Provident Jewelry in November 2016, Naples police said Friday.

Reinier Ocampo, 22, of Hialeah, Rafael Montalvo, 30, of Hollywood, and Osniel Munoz Frances, 24, of Hialeah, were indicted this month on federal charges that included their involvement in the heist.

The men were linked to other robberies and burglaries in Hialeah and Davie, police said.

One of the suspects brandished a handgun during the Naples robbery while the other used a backpack to steal 40 watches, police said. The pair escaped on a stolen motorcycle, which was later recovered several blocks away from the store.

Twenty watches were recovered, police said.

The three men are facing charges of conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act robberies, while Ocampo and Francis have additional charges of brandishing a firearm while committing a crime of violence and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, respectively.
