Jury selection begins for Fort Myers drive-by shooting suspect

FORT MYERS, Fla. Jury selection for the trial of a 22-year-old Fort Myers man accused of killing a woman in a drive-by shooting began Tuesday morning, 20th Judicial Circuit spokeswoman Sara Miles said.

Gloria Sparrow, 63, was shot in the head in April 2016 at her Fort Myers home.

Sheddrick Jubree Brown Jr. faces charges of discharging a firearm from a vehicle, weapon offense, property damage of $100 or more, possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted felon, and homicide, according to an arrest report. He’s also accused of violating his parole.
