MGN NAPLES, Fla. A drunk driving suspect was arrested in connection to an overnight hit-and-run on Interstate 75, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office said. The crash happened on mile marker 72 when the suspect slammed into a Florida Department of Transportation Road Ranger’s truck and almost hit him, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The ranger, who had pulled over to respond to a separate crash, had to jump out of the way. The driver did not stop, according to State troopers, who used spike strips and a pit maneuver to catch her at mile marker 92. The driver’s identity is unclear. No further information was immediately available.
