FORT MYERS, Fla. The FGCU baseball team’s winning streak came to an end Saturday at Swanson Stadium after losing to Jacksonville University 10-5. After the Dolphins jumped to an early lead off a solo home run in the top of the second inning, the Eagles tied the game with a run in the bottom of the third, then took the lead with another in the next inning. The A-Sun opponents then engaged in a back-and-forth battle in the fifth and sixth innings, but the Eagles were ultimately defeated when the Dolphins added another seven runs to the scoreboard in the last two innings. FGCU and Jacksonville will face each other once again in the series finale Sunday at 1 p.m.
