NORTH PORT, Fla. A man was arrested after he stunned, bound and held a 70-year-old woman against her will for seven hours Wednesday, North Port police said.

The woman hired Anthony “Snake” Brigitzer, 50, to do various jobs around her home on the 5700 block of Espanola Avenue, police said.

He wrapped his arms around the victim and began stunning her with a stun gun around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, police said. He’s accused of binding her feet, hands and chest to a chair with duct tape, police said.

The woman contacted police after Brigitzer let her go and left the home around 4:30 p.m., police said.

Authorities said Brigitzer is a convicted felon and was released from prison in August.

He is currently being held in the Sarasota County Jail on no bond.
