Accused thief at large following Lehigh robbery

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and an unknown suspect who robbed a Family Dollar store at 5009 Lee Blvd. Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect entered the store just before 3:30 p.m. He immediately approached the clerk and demanded all the money in the register. After the clerk complied and handed over the till, he quickly left the store, heading westbound on Lee Boulevard.

The suspect is approximately 5’8,” of medium build, with short blonde hair and green eyes. He was wearing all black clothes, as well as black gloves and black material covering most of his face, Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said. He was also donning a ball cap with an Adidas logo on the front and the NBA insignia on the back.

Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
