ARCADIA, Fla. A portion State Road 70 reopened Tuesday morning following poor visibility conditions, the Florida Highway Patrol said. State Road 70 was shut down for most of the morning from County Road 760 in DeSoto County to Placida Lakes Boulevard in Highlands County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Drivers were encouraged to find alternate routes. This portion of State Road 70 has closed multiple times this month. No further information was immediately available.
