Lehigh Acres resident Jontavious Thomas, 29, was slain on his way to work as a truck driver, authorities said. His family has kicked in an additional $5,000 to bring the total reward for information leading to the arrest of his killer to $26,000, Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said. An anonymous donor initially offered a $10,000 reward which was then matched by Thomas’ former employer. Crime Stoppers also offered $1,000.
