Jessica Alpern / WINK CAPE CORAL, Fla. A portion of Del Prado Boulevard reopened Sunday morning after a shooting led to a crash, the Cape Coral Police Department said. The circumstances leading up to the shooting, crash and injuries weren’t immediately clear. The crash took place early Sunday morning. The northbound and southbound lanes from the 200 block to the 400 block of Del Prado Boulevard were shut down for several hours, but reopened just after 6 a.m., according to police. A silver SUV was towed off the scene. A small portion of Del Prado Boulevard remains closed just before Northeast Third Terrace while crews work to secure a power pole, police said. Power was knocked out to some businesses between the 200 block and 300 block of Del Prado Boulevard, according to Lee County Electric Cooperative crews. No further information was immediately available.
