LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. A 14-year-old girl was arrested after allegedly allowing a toddler to smoke marijuana, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies were initially investigating a robbery and went through the teen’s cell phone to see if there was any connection to the robbery suspect.

However, deputies found videos and photos of the teen with a toddler on her lap, allowing him to smoke what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette. The video showed the toddler inhale, then exhale, as the teen was seen laughing in the background, deputies said.

The toddler was identified as being her nephew.

The girl is now facing charges of cruelty toward a child. She is also facing an additional probation violation charge, as she had been previously arrested for criminal mischief.

The teen’s name is not being released because she’s a minor.
