ARCADIA, Fla. A man was shot to death at a home Tuesday, and the man accused of killing him is facing first-degree murder charges, the Arcadia Police Department said.

Christian Mundo, 23, of 4605 SE Navajo Drive, told police he shot Phillip Smith after Smith admitted he inappropriately touched Mundo’s 7-year-old niece, according to the police department. The shooting took place at 610 N. Arcadia Ave.

Smith sustained what appeared to be a single gunshot wound to the forehead, according to the police department, which didn’t disclose Smith’s address or age.
