Immokalee High robotics team builds quick success

IMMOKALEE, Fla. A school known more for its athletic and agricultural accomplishments is quickly making inroads in an entirely different venue.

The Immokalee High School robotics team has won four individual awards, a district title and an invitation to a statewide event in its first year. And the students are 80 percent of the way toward raising the $15,000 they need to go to a world-level competition next month in Louisville, Kentucky.
