FORT MYERS, Fla. A 25-year-old man was arrested Tuesday in connection to an armed robbery earlier this month, the Fort Myers Police Department said.

Tevin Spears, of 470 Van Buren St., turned himself into police Tuesday morning. He and Marquis Drake, of 3135 Edison Ave., were involved in a scuffle in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven at 4020 Fowler St., police said.

Spears and Drake approached a man and woman sitting in a car, according to police. The woman in the car was Drake’s ex-girlfriend, police detectives said.

An argument ensued and Spears brandished a gun and pointed it at the man, demanding his wallet and the car, according to police.
