(WTSP) A 2-year-old boy’s life was cut short Tuesday afternoon after he was left in a car for several hours Tuesday morning, WTSP reported. The boy’s half-sister, 21-year-old Vanessa Silva-Tello, had the boy, Jacob Manchego, with her when she arrived for work at a day car center near 733 West Lumsden Road around 9:30 a.m. Silva-Tello went inside and left Jacob unattended in the car, deputies said. .@HCSOSheriff: boy died at hospital after 1/2 sister left him in an SUV&went to work at daycare.Daycare: they’re “praying for family” #wtsp pic.twitter.com/tDv826pFMz — Kendra Conlon (@KendraWTSP) February 28, 2017 Silva-Tello returned to the car at 2:30 p.m. and noticed Jacob. She rushed him to a dialysis center nearby, where first aid was administered. Hillsborough Fire Rescue arrived later and took Jacob to Brandon Regional Hospital.
