John Trierweiler / WINK CAPE CORAL, Fla. Southwest Florida residents can fight to end childhood hunger by packaging food for Feed My Starving Children event. Those interested can participate from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Volunteers can also help from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at St. Katharine Drexel on 1922 SW 20th Ave. This endeavor will benefit Feed My Starving Children, an organization that provides meals worldwide. In addition, the church is holding a canned food drive and accepts monetary donations. WINK News reporter John Trierweiler went live via Facebook from the church to show how these meals are assembled.
