GOLDEN GATE, Fla. One person was injured early Thursday morning after a drunk driver crashed into a taxi on Interstate 75 at mile marker 109, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The two-vehicle crash happened at around 3 a.m., according to the FHP. The driver of the van was speeding at about 100 mph. The taxi driver was injured and taken to the hospital, while the drunk driver was arrested, officials said. The blood alcohol level of the driver at the time of the crash is unclear. No further information was immediately available.
